  1. When I read about Nonja, it sounded as though she enjoyed her artistic creation. She has favourite colours and sometimes spends time making a piece of her canvas look right, so it seems to entertain her, which is probably a good thing. Maybe she doesn't see the art as enriching her life, but it is an activity that appears to bring some pleasure in an otherwise not very exciting environment.

I don't think that animal "art" has much artistic value, although some does look OK. Actually, when I was looking for some images last night, some of the work being done by Thai elephants seemed to be representational and skilled. I don't if it was real or not, or how much detailed training went into it, or whether the elephants are able to create or just repeat something that they have been carefully taught to do.

  2. When I visited Changmai, I actually got a chance to see the elephants drawing pictures. What they drew were so amazing and impressive that I decided to buy post cards. As long as the elephants are well taken care by keepers, I think it is a good idea. A far as I can see, I felt elephants seemed enjoying and were not forced to do it.

  3. I'm not sure I abouit that but I think animals in captivity could produce art If they are not abused by caretaker because zoo can earn money feom their arts and spend that money to take care of other animal in capacity. Moreover their ability can attract more tourist attraction to go to the zoo to visit animals' ability.

  4. I have seen an elephant drawing some pictures and also any other shows. It was included the various shows. The first impression was fresh because it was first time to see it. Before that, I just heard or read the news. Their shows seemed them exploit to earn money, even though the worker in the zoo insisted the money is going to use for welfare of them. I think the drawing activity the elephant showed us was distorted his nature.

  5. I think, I disagree to bring the animals go to the forest and make money they must live in the forest. Especially the elephant should live in the forest., because city or another is not their home and sometime can make a problem for people
