Thinking is hard, thinking about thinking of academic topic might not always be hard. What is the right thing to improve the way we Thinking. After I have read Danial Dennett "The Intuition Pump" It made me interest in philosophy. For me philosophy is hard to understand and very charming.

I'm impressed that you have read Dennett's book Intuition Pumps. He's one of my favourite contemporary philosophers, with some great ideas on philosophy mind, especially the sort of issue we addressed last term on the conflict between free will and determinism.
ReplyDeleteHave you read his ideas on that controversy? Is Dennett a compatibilist or a libertarian?
But he has also done some great work in other areas of philosophy. I think that his book Darwin's Dangerous Idea is one of the best accounts ever of the ideas and importance of Darwin's theory of evolution, which is something I've been interested in ever since high school. I like Dennett not only for the brilliance of his ideas, but also for his clear and precise style of writing, which is full of great examples. Do you agree?
You are so brave. I don't like thinking complex things as like arguments having no solid answers. They make me uncomfortable from the bottom of my heart.
