Good in two + one

A favourite

I listen to hip hop music a lot and my favourite rapper is Playboi Carti. My favourite song from Playboi Carti is Magnolia. I listen to his music everyday because it makes me feel so good every time I hear his voice. Playboi Carti has his own unique voice which is very iconic. I like the beats on his song because they are so unique and weird. Playboi Carti raps with his own flow and his flow fits with the beats and he killed it every song.  His songs always give me a lot of hype every time play his song.

A second favourite

I really like to play games, but my favourite one is Rainbow 6 siege. Rainbow 6 is a FPS game that requires a lot of skills. Rainbow 6 isn't just a normal shooting game because we need to plan wisely. When I play this game I have to think a lot and that makes this game even more challenging to compete with other players. I can feel the happiness every time I win. I play Rainbow 6 siege every day with my friends at another school and I hope I could play this game forever.

It feels weird when the movie that everyone likes is the worst movie for me. Its STAR WAR. I don't like Star War because I feel like the movie is just boring. The fighting scenes and the stories seem so boring for me. The movie cannot brings me to get into it. The characters aren't even that interesting. And I have to admit the fact that 90% of people like Star War and that makes me feel even worst to this movie.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I cannot change people mind. We have to understand the others opinion and respect to their choice. I have to admit to the people who don't like Playboi Carti and Rainbow 6. Maybe because Playboi Cari songs have a lot of inappropriate words, Maybe Rainbow 6 isn't the best game on someone point of view. And I have to be respectful to the people who like Star War. In the end, I have to give respect to everyone opinion.

  1. I feel about computer games, especially shooting games, a bit the way Good feels about Star Wars. I can't see what fascinates so many people, but obviously many people love them. It isn't only my friend's sons who love to play computer games, a lot of my adult friends also enjoy them. Maybe if I gave them a go, I could enjoy them, but I think I'll give them a miss. Ea, the son of friend who I often eat with, usually gets his phone out after he's filled up on oysters and prawns and has a break shooting or racing while his father and I chat as we continue eating. Like Good, Ea also likes playing games with his school friends. I suspect he's fairly good at his games. When he persuades me to play an old-fashioned game of draughts or chess on his phone, he usually beats me. But he practices a lot more than I do these days.

Good didn't tell us how often he wins, which I would like to know, also how much time he spends playing. And I wonder whether he also plays when he's having a meal with other people?

I also had a few questions about Playboi Carti, who I've never heard of, but perhaps someone else will ask those questions for Good to answer.

    1. At 223 words, this is not too long for a comment replying to a blog post. As usual, one idea leads to another.

  2. Both you and Peter doesn't like Star War but I do. The phrase: 'may the force be with you' is my motto until now when I need to empower myself whether when I feel down or feel lack of confident I tell myself that phrase to gain my power and make me brave. I embarrassing to say that but it's a truth. I admit that I barely remembered what the story was in each episode; you may wonder why I told you I like it? The reason is, I kind of like every movie about outer space. I always enjoy sit in the dark and watch a fake universe in the very big screen and pretend that I am an astronaut and looking at all those stars above me. I watched all episode of Star War and even no one wanted to watch it with me I also didn't mind to watch it myself. If I watched Star War, I would choose the middle row seat in the cinema so I was close enough but not too close to feel like I were sitting in the space. That why I like the movies series not because of the narrative but I love to see the spectacle scene of the universe.

    1. If it's any consolation, I loved the movie Avatar, but the story there had very sensible reasons for the aliens on Pandora using bows and arrows, while the nasty humans used guns and bombs.

I like Num's idea about enjoying an imagined universe, and some films create that really well, such as Avator. I also liked the Alien series of films. More recently, one of my favourite films has been The Martian, starring Matt Damon. That universe was really well created, and I loved the way that solid science was mixed in with the purely imagined elements. If you haven't seen it, I would recommend The Martian. I just did some quick research on my NetFlix account: The Martian is currently available with English only sound tracks (although Thai is offered for the subtitles). Unfortunately, only the fourth Alien film is on NetFlix now, and I thought that the earlier ones were better, especially the first in the series. The star is still Sigourney Weaver, but the story just isn't as strong as in the earlier Alien films.

I'm looking forward to Avatar 2 whenever that might arrive.

  3. I also like hip-hop songs but I have never heard from Playboi Carti. I always listen from Travis Scott and Chris Brown. However, when I listen to hip-hop songs I always spend more than five times to focus on what meaning in each songs are. Sometimes they make me inconvenient to listen to because I cannot catch the words. The only reason that I like hip-hop that is almost of the hip-hop songs have interested beat.
