How strong is the evidence that Alexander was poisoned?
ReplyDeleteWe, actually, could not know what the cause of the dead of Alexander exactly is. It is such an arcane thing that is so mysterious. Because Alexander had died for 2300 years ago, the evidence is vague. I just know that Alexander was poisoned appears in the book. If you ask me how strong of the evidence that Alexander was poisoned, I could answer you for noting, but somehow, I believe that book.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if it was because that was what the book said, and if the author gave reasons for that.
ReplyDeleteIt is commonly considered to be a possibility, but most historians at least admit that the evidence is very uncertain, and his symptoms as recorded are also consistent with a natural death from an infection.
Does the book say who was responsible for poisoning him?
After I go over your question that who was respond for his died, I’ve found from the book that he possibly had been poisoned by his officer; probably he had caught a disease carried by insects. Until now, there is no, exactly, conclusion about his died.
