A Time To Kill

A Time To Kill was compoesd by John Grisham. It told about racialism in the southern United States where the coloured people were oppressed. The story began with the rape event of Carl Lee's dauther by 2 white males. Indeed, the girl was black. Subsequently, Carl Lee committed a revenge by killing those raper. That' s why this story is called "A Time To Kill". Despite a fiction, the story was based on a true event where the the balcks and whites had conflict in the past and many things referred to in the book, such as the organization named Ku Kluk Klan, were real. I think this book is good for studying about incompatibility among people with different colours. It reflects unjustice in the society, even in the recent year, where the man with more power always takes avantage over the weaker. However, I am glad to see that a lawyer who handled the case for behalf of Carl Lee was white. This mean in the darkness, there always is the light, even though we hardly notice it Therefore, I do recommend people to read this book.
