Madonna opens new Malawi school
Nowadays, charity is quite popular among celebrities, we might see it according to the BBC article, "Madonna opens new Malawi school", which shows Madonna's anxiety of poor people who live in Malawi and do not have an opportunity to study.
The article, which was represented in the "Entertainment" division, points out Madonna's charity supports, particularly «Raising Malawi Academy for Girls" (2009, ¶ 2). As it has been mentioned in report, the construction will take two years, and costs fifteen millions dollars. Madonna believes that this unique school will give a chance for underprivileged children to get comprehensive education and advantages that education can provide.
Living in normal conditions, we take the education for granted. We might forget about people who live in developing countries such as Malawi that they do not have an opportunity to study. In my opinion, Madonna's action is a good example for people to remind that we should be thankful for what we had.

In my opinion, to take a chance of education is one of the good ideas to promote quality of lives such as being good carreers; however, It could partly be factors to enhance. I think that the former activities should be basic needs before anythings else. If children lost essential needs, they could not learn, efficiently, althought, there have a best school to study. For example, children go to school, but they are hunger in a classroom. I think they could not understand because their health is not inappropriate. So,the purpose of opening new school to help people getting a good job may fail.
ReplyDeleteI think Aor's idea is very good but I still think Madonna decides the right thing because she fix the root cause. If children have education, they can work, have high salary and then they can help someone else. If Madonna give food to them, next year I think they still hungry.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and Madonna. I think giving education is the best of beneficial way for people. Madonna is one of the most successful singer, she can buy anything she want but she decide spending money for children education. For this decision, people are going to love her more.
ReplyDeleteI agree all of you. My idea is quiet similar with Ann's idea. I think it better to help the children study the knowledge than give them the food, because I think even you give them the food, they will eat up one day, but if we teach them the knowledge they can make money by themselves and maybe in the furture they can become a useful man.
