BAS's Academic Interests

When I was a child, I was excited by the experiment of electrolysis which my science teacher showed it to the class. At that time, I was fascinated how we can turn water to the burning gas (Hydrogen) and Oxygen gas. I has started my interests in sciences and had my passionate to lean about it after I watch that experiment. I'm curious to know  what the science description behind magic trick such as illusion.

  1. Unlike art, which I never thought I could understand, science was one of my loves from the age of around 11 or 12. By the time i got to high school, I was trying experiments and reading ahead to learn more. I even used to read my science text books for fun on the bus trips to and from school. I then went to study physics at university, but soon changed to the philosophy that became my major, and for which I even studied theories of art - mainly because I was interested in wider questions of value, of what makes something good, or of some worth. On the whole, I still think that science gives more satisfying explanations.

  2. I used to interested in science, but now it's change. When I was a little, I like to see things change into another substance. My father brought me science experiment for kids which they are sell at the shop. It's very difference from I watched on TV, so I don't like what my father gave me:(

  3. I think that every science experiment starts from human's curious. When they want to know something, they need to find the answer to proof it.

In Thailand, there are many good scientists but they are not supported by the government, so many of them cannot earn a living here and then have to work abroad in order to get more money to sustain their lives.

    1. I agreed with you that many Thai scientists can not work in our country because of lacking supports. So, they have to move to developed countries such as the US.
