Teenager imitates online game, kills taxi driver
One week ago, a teenager killed a taxi driver in order to get money for online game. He stabbed a taxi driver about 10 times with knives and it imitated online game. Nowadays there are a lot of crimes related with online game and offenders' age is getting younger. Moreover, they don't recognize their behaviors are good or bad. Also, some people don't distinguish between actual world and cyber world sometimes. It's not only gamers' fault, but aslo company which make game. Many online game showing crime such as shot gun or stab with weapon and many teenager is under many kind of crime. some of them also are experienced psychological problem. Some countries which have same crime problem have made related law and way to solve this problem. However, the crimes are increasing.

If laws have been made that control the games, but the crimes continue to increase, doesn't that suggest that it is not the games that are the problem? This seems to imply that the laws restricting the games are unjust and should be revoked.
ReplyDeleteI think there are other reasons mentioned in Michelle's post that suggest that making laws to restrict the games is wrong. I wonder what others think.

In my opinion, I think is not fair to damn the games. Many teenagers play them and can distinguish between actual world and cyber world, but someone can not. I think maybe that people, who can not distinguish between real and game, are have the mental illness or abnormal psychology. Because most of the player can adjust their brain or their mind to distinguish between real and unreal.
ReplyDeleteOnline game's problem is not only imitating game, but there is also seriouse problem which people is being addicted. Many parents complain about the game that their children never stop playing game.
ReplyDeleteIt affects their studies and health badly. I'm a one of the mother who bans the game. But children say, if they don't how to play game and they have no information abt game, sometimes they can't get along with friends. Is it really hot potato?
Actually, I do not like playing game online so if government make a strict rule and supervise the violent game online before approve to play in Thailand, teenagers may play a high quality game and more safety. Moreover, parents should look after their children when they play computer game and choose the suitable game to them because they may think action like game is common and want to do lke that. I think violent online game lead to crime easily because some teenagers want more money and fun. Therefore, this problm will occur for a long time and difficult to solve this problem.
ReplyDeleteI think many game online is not appropriate for children because it make children be aggressive or used to do strong action like he does in game such as shooting, stabing and bombing.My nephew is a boy who like to play computer game so much and I notice that he has very strong emotion when he angry, like to win and can't accept when he lose.I think parents should control their children about playing game computer by limit the time and type of computer game.
