Acording to BBC News reporting"China's First Aircraft Carrier Enters Seveice" the first aircraft carrier of China was enters seveice,And it will be used for training.But there also have some fun reporting,"The country's Communist leaders are spending billions modernising their armed forces so they can project military power far beyond China's borders."says the BBC's Damian Grammaticas in Beijing.
Everytime I read or heard some same reaporting make me assosiation that "China Threat Theory".Does China really Threaten any one or any of other country?
In my own opinon,the answer is absolutly no.Not because I'm a Chinese that if I said yes it's bad for my country,It's just a guy who's very familiar with China's opinon. Then why does China always improve our military capability.
In the China's modern history,It's China's Humiliation history.Many other country were invasion us,and robbery anyting they want,They also called Chinese is the “sick man of eastern Asia".Every Chinese in now,It's fell shamed about that part of histroy.But it taught us a truth"Falling behind will suffer beating”.
And why other country don't need to worry about China's developing.We can find the reason in China's histroy again.According to China's histroy ,It has many differnt period that China is the biggest country also the most developed country in the world.In those period,China did't start any of the war to invade other country.Most of the time, We prefer to do more trade diplomcy.

I totally agree with Frank's response. China's rising phenomenon in the international community both economically and politically has been labelled as threat to the world because China is a great powerful country and has potential to challenge the USA, the gigantic superpower in the last two decades. Although the rise of china is not perfect that you can see many troubles such as pollution and economic slowdown in the continuous processing development, the rest of the world also faces global difficulty.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I believe China has its own legitimacy to expand its military power. However, it actually looks like a risk to other in international society. The fear of threatening action usually comes from human nature that would not like the others, which can be identified as rivals, being more developed or more prosperous. Finally, I should note that my idea is from an theory in "International Relations" called Realism.
When I had a look a Frank's source, I was a bit surprised at the list of countries that have those extremely expensive military ships of such dubious value. The list includes little European countries like Spain, who I think must have much better ways to spend so much money, especially in its current economic troubles. I suspect that nations like to build such things mainly to fuel national pride. They don't do much except divert massive economic resources into dead ends.
ReplyDeleteWhich brings me to the first thing I thought of when I read Frank's post: trade is much better way to both ensure peace and also prosperity. As trade barriers are broken down, the citizens of countries who can trade more freely benefit, even if some small groups might suffer, but the selfish interests of some groups should not be allowed to economically harm entire countries as happens when trade barriers are put up to protect some businesses, industries or groups from fair and open free trade.
I was glad to see that my country, which is completely surrounded by seas, has not been so foolish as to waste a fortune on an aircraft carrier that we do not need.
China is the most biggest country in Asia pacific. People are very diligent and strong. Currently, China is the country with the third largest economy in the world follow the U.S.and Japan already and it has been continued to grow and fast that why there are some countries observe what is happening in China.

It's normally to concern about peace in the world, but it’s not fair for other countries why the US can have very strong military or high power weapons, whereas others cannot have one of them. I think that it should have not only a country to have a power to control the peace in the world . One thing that clearly stands out is the US doesn’t want other countries have stronger military than it. American often used the reason to protect our peace and humanity making the war on other countries and get their benefits back. For example, Iraqi, after the war US companies get the almost of oil deals in this country.
