Discuss these questions in a comment below.
  1. When was the last time you were scared? How did you react?
  2. Do you ever react in a positive way to fear?
You have eight minutes total to respond to the question.

When I read the first question, my immediate reaction was that I definitely did not want to write the awful thing that first came to mind for public reading, which is a perfectly good response to the question, and will lead to the next idea to write in the next sentence, which will spark the next idea to write down, which will in turn bring another idea to mind to turn into a sentence.

  1. An example of fear that I often think of is when a friend took me to the construction site for a giant Buddha statue in Chiang Rai. We went up and walked out onto platform that the workers were working on. And there were no rails around the edges, just nothing. I was actually surprised at how much fear I felt. It wasn't that high, and I feel no fear at all in high buildings or on places with even a weak sort of railing. But the absence had a strong effect on me. I was trying to be not too obviously terrified, but I don't think I did a good job. It was a great relief to get back inside, surrounded by safe walls: my heart could slow down, and the breathing could return to normal.

I think the second question asks whether fear causes me to respond in an effective way. It does. if I see a car speeding towards me, jumping out of the way in a panic is a healthy sort of response. Freezing with fear would not be positive.

  2. 1)The last time I am scared and I could remind of was when I was a child and climbing up parallel walls and don't know how to get down. I was waiting there until someone pass by and helped me get down the wall.

2)I'm not sure what a positive react really means. most of the time when we fear of something what we do are mostly negative.
Oh I change my mind about that now. Perhaps when someone want to depart from me and I don't want it I might give her a favor. or when I am afraid of failing a test or not getting a good grade then I will try more. These are all positive reaction. but to be specific I won't tell you though.

  3. The latest fear I have faced was Cockroaches. I once wondered why they didn't die with dinosaurs it would be better if they did. My reaction to Cockroaches was ,the same as usual, swearing bad words while they run past me.

I don't think I ever react in a positive way to fear because when I get scare of something I usually react by saying bad words or run away from them.

  4. 1.The last time I was scared cockroaches when I went to eat street food and I walked along footpath then someone put hot water into the drain. Immediately many cockroaches come out from it. I shocked and jump away like reflex action. Moreover I still remember the situation in my brain.
2.For this question I exactly don't know what is positive way should be but I think probably never do in positive way.

  5. 1. Last time I scared was yesterday when me and my friends were talking about trip to Chum-Porn.
We were planing to go to Chum-Porn to find more information about our project at university.
Because we need to interview many people which take a long time. That's why we need to stay at Chum-Porn for one night. The problem was half of my friends agree that Chum-Porn is like a dessert city that no one want to live because of ghost. This news remind me about ghost and make of worried about this trip very much.

    2. Yes, sometime that I can react in a positive way of fear; however, I always run away from things that make me fear or try to avoid it.

  6. 1.When was the last time you were scared? How did you react?

As I remember, it just happened last week. After i had finished my workout and my condo's gym, I feel like I was watched by someone, then I looked around there was on one there. So I felt scaring of ghosts. Then I suddenly went into the elevator and went to my room and lock my door. That made me feel comfortable in my room. haha.
2.Do you ever react in a positive way to fear?
Yes, I do. I think when I feel of something, I try to avoid to deal with it. I can recall to my experience when I went hiking with my friends, I try stay away from cliff because of my fear of height. I think it will make my safe and that is the positive way, that what I think.

  7. Fear are everywhere. I have to admit is truth. That's because sometimes we are making up our own fear.

2 days ago, writing some Java and XML for my company android application. This is quite challenging because I had to reverse-engineer my own application that i had made 1 and a half year ago just because i loss my own source-code and can't get it back. Although i can bring back some of the codes, its apperence and algorithm is quite bad and pain to read. I was raining and i am staying in the house alone with my computer and keyboard(also mouse). While i am working on my project for about 3-4 hours, the power cut off. the room were in a complete darkness and this make me worry because there is a sound of a footstep(complete making up because it is the sound of water hit against the floor). I worry about my code and the danger that is coming. Luckliy the auto-save function is on :D.

In this example, fear sometimes makes us more aware of our surrounding and incoming danger. It is just a part of our mind/thinking. Although, it was complete fake footstep, this remined me to lock the door. This is also the positive effects of fear that people can have even it is completely illogical.

  8. The last time I was scared was last week when I met a dog at the bus stop nearby my house. The dog looks very fierce, when I saw it I walked away from it immediately. I don't know I react in a positive way or not because every time I find something that scared me I always avoid facing it.
