Fluke's academic interests

I interested in foreign languages when I was 6, I saw my mother can speak Deutsch with her  guest that come to meeting at her company. After that I request my mom to sent me to learn English and German but for the first years I think it's very hard to learn two language so I only learn English. And when I'm in grade 10 I have to choose my major and I think I'll choose English-German but my school they didn't open this major because they can't find German teacher in that years , I was so upset  but finally they have English-french.

  1. I am interested in your passion that you want to speak foreign language and choose Deutsch because of your mother is inspriration.Overall I read with your blog.I think the way that your achieves are really good with your age.Ofcouse, finally you have english-franch teacher,so you have to learn this language and didn't learn german as you expect.Another side,I think you can have the extra class of German language or youn can learn by yourself with your mom or your application devices. The way to make people can speak another language is not only in the class,it depend on your practice and learn in your life. From my background ,I am one of the family that Parent is pushing another languages to me. I learn in Bilingual School with environment has many native speaker.I have to learn English,Chinese and Japanese lanuages, when I was young. My passion of that time is not focus on learning another languages that why my languages is not fluent. Now,I realise with another languages lately.I recommend you to achieve you interest before it becomes late.

  2. I think it's good to study another language, even if you don't need it for work. When you study another language, you also learn the culture that that language encodes, and you get new stories and ways to understand things. When I studied Latin, I didn't just learn about ancient Rome, I also read things like Lucretius' brilliant poem de rerum natura which contains ideas almost 2,000 years before Darwin provided the evidence for things like evolution and the rest of our strictly material understanding of the world around us. The world and everything in it might be purely physical and natural, but we can create amazing art and other values to enjoy, and learning languages opens these up to you.
