Phing's identity

My identity in person

My identity can be represented by several things. Firstly, I believe that my outfits are the most distinguished expression. I enjoy exploring up-to-date trends and news; therefore, not only do I usually dress up in various clothes but I also put my make up in the different styles each day. In contrast, the tone of my voice and my gestures are quite vanilla. Mostly, I speak in a monotone and have just a few reactions with people. Last but not least, the majority of my friends mentioned that I speak extremely bluntly. After having conversations with me, they were shocked. Actually, I am pretty lenient and just prefer telling the truth with them.

My identity online

In social media, there are plenty of options for modifying your profile. Creating the avatars is entertaining for me. I would like to show my drawing skills; hence, I usually create illustrations that were used in my profile picture by myself. Meanwhile, I prefer using a formal name in my social media account because it is more reliable. Nearly all of my photos on Instagram are pictures of scenery and stunning places in Bangkok. I am eager to share my travel style which is finding hidden gems.

Conclusion: How accurately my online identity communicates who I am

To be honest, I believe there is a lot of misleading about me. I always take many pictures while I am traveling. I wouldn't like to bombard those pictures on social media's timeline because It can be annoying for my friends; provide that, I post just 1 picture per day. Even though after coming back from holidays, I still post pictures of tourist attractions every day. Consequently, people speculate that I usually have long holidays although I am as busy as a bee in real life.
