Chatt's academic interests

There are many kinds of academic interests. My academic interests are about Mathematics, Thai history and Medical.

Firstly, I love mathematics because I think that's the subject I am good at.

secondly, I love watching  Thai history movies and series, such as Pranaresuan and Buppesannivas.

Finally,I would like be a doctor because when I was young I was always sick so Medical is what I really interest and want to learn.

  1. One reason I liked mathematics was also that I was good at it, and that does help. As I was reading through your classmates' other posts on academic interests, I notice that someone else also has an interesting comment on mathematics, which you might like to respond to in your own comment.

I don't know much about Thai history, just the main kingdoms and areas. I think it's good to learn about history because it helps us to understand our society. Unfortunately, I'm not so good at Australian history, although I do know the history of my own family, which came to Australia from northern Italy around 1880. A couple of my aunts are very interested in this, so they keep me up to date on new discoveries about the family history. On my visit home last week, my aunt gave me some recent research on my family name, which is older than I had thought, being traced back in Italian records to at least the early 16th century. My own interests in history are generally older, so I know the earlier history of that part of the world better – the time Greece and Rome.

  2. I love mathematics too. Not that I'm good at it (it's not bad actually) but If there was a language that make the most sense and is the most unarguable, it would be the math.

I hated history as a subject when I was in the high school but later I found it is very interesting when it was told by someone who deeply know about it, especially when it relates to what going on now.

  3. I also like history, I do not really know the deep information about Thai history but I found it interesting when I studied in high school and when my Thai friend tell me stories about them. In my opinion history can be somewhat boring to some maybe because they already knew or some find it sleepy. I found it is the great way to learn and be more familiar of that country is to learn their history. The information we know can change often and we get confuse whether we should believe it or not but I think the good thing about history is that the more I learn there are more deep, deep information I can get and it does boost my interest to it. Well sometimes they said this and then changes thing that I get confused usually.

And math.... hmm, I am terrible at mathematics. I don't know how am I suppose to get the correct answer and I always fail to do so. When I was in high school I barely pass and really it is a hundred percent true story. I get confused and I am always lost while solving an equation. I sometimes think when I still was an embryo the genes for my knowledge to do mathematics were all removed from me and went down straight to my sister.

  4. I love math, because, in the past, I were good at it. When I was in High School, studying in Math Gifted Program, I thought again and said to myself that I didn't really like Math.
I don't like Thai language much because the grammar is so hard, in my opinion. But I do like some of Thai history like Pranaraesuan. I preferred Greek mythology.
