Berm's Acadamic Interests

My academic interest is about Gadget Technology. Recently, technology go far beyond our expectation. A telephone have much more abilities to facilitate our tasks, such as organization, Internet browsing, etc. All of them make me excited especially what function will be added for the next generation of our gadgets. The development in this field is very competitive since the state of art of hardware as well as operational systems are required to satisfy people's desire. Following the strategies that make them happen would make me not only learn for technological advancement but also for the marketing and political aspects as well.

  1. I'm not so excited by gadgets as I used to be. When I was in school, I loved playing with computers, and I also studied computer science along with mathematics at university. In the late 1970s, that meant punching holes in cards and tediously programming in languages like Fortran.

I have a mobile phone with a camera now, and in truth, it just adds useless weight and complexity to my mobile. I almost never use the camera, and have never needed it. On the other hand, the contacts organization is good, and I like the alarms . I also use my mobile in conjunction with my Google calendar to remind me of things by SMS.

And I do like to read the technology pages on the newspapers I read online, so I guess I still have some interest in gadgets, but more for what is possible than for my own personal use.

Nice post, it gave me something interesting to think about.
