Aom's Academic Interests

Hi, I am Aom, and my main academic interest these day is origins of Belief in Vampires. I watched many movies about vampires but there are some similar and some different points.

  1. I love Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, do you know those novels?
Interview with the Vampire has been made into a fairly good film starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as the wonderfully wicked vampire Le Stat.

I'm afraid I don't rate the Twilight films to highly, but I haven't read Myer's books, so can't comment on them.

Anne Rice is skilled writer, who writes for adults, so her monsters are mature, credible, well developed, and sexy. The Vampire Le Stat is my favourite Rice novel.

I agree that why and how people come to believe these sorts of things is fascinating.

  2. And I'm not going to delete that last comment and repost it just because there is a minor grammar mistake - it isn't importnat and won't make any problem for readers.

  3. I've just know that you guys are interested in Vampire, that's also one of my interests. Actually, I have a lots of interest in various fields because I love reading which I've read many kind of books, that's why I can't decide what my most interesting topic is.
By the way, for Vampire, I used to do some research about Vampire in art and anthropological context, So, if you'd like we can have a talk about this topic later.

  5. Thank you guys
I also don't like TwilIght. It talks about love too much. I want some mystery. I like vampire diaries. I think this novel talks about love less than Twilight and it's so exciting.
And Peter thank you for your suggestion. I never heard about this novel. I will search for this.^^
