I also agree with you, because nowadays we have a lot of technology to transport the things for cheaper and better result. A lot of my friends and acquaintances also have studied this field too. I think it's a very good trend and also good for our country to have another supply chain specialized engineer like you. My sister is also graduated industrial engineering, even though she has not studied about logistic, she is very careful about the cost and money. I think you also have a very good foundation from engineering like her too.
ReplyDeletethank you, I actually learn a subject about cost and money same as your sister but I really hate it.
ReplyDeleteI also like logistics and I try to apply to this major for my master degree in other countries. Could you tell me to know more about this subject?
ReplyDeleteWe separate logistic in two kinds. The first is logistic for business, it relate to subjects about cost or money of transportation. The second is about how to plan your vehicle for delivering goods to your customers on time (it have to use the knowledge about engineering.)
DeleteAlthough I can see it's importance, I'm afraid I don't share your passion for logistics. But that's OK - I think it's good for us to be passionate about different things, and there are too many fascinating and worthwhile areas to study for anyone today to hope to know much about more than a very few.
ReplyDeleteIt also amazes me that there are people who actually love accounting! But they probably think some of my interests are incomprehensible. And that reminds me of one of my fellow teachers at AUA who is passionate about the Star Wars films: I've never thought they were that great, but my friend knows everything about them, and collects the toys and so on.
