My Yes/No question is:
Should announcing that you hate your job and eating smelly food be concerned mistake in the office?

My answer is:
Yes, it should. Because I think that if people announcing that they hate their job and other people hear it, this action will reduce morale of other people which will effect with the quality of works. Moreover, I think that this is some kind of negative thinking which will be able to let thinker do not satisfy with their works and lead to less productive in finally.

The second is eating smelly food. I think that it's not suitable to eat smell food in the office because it can disturb others people which want to concentrate on their work a lot. This will lead to less productive of other people's work and will be effect with production of the company in the long run.

  1. Yes, I do. That's a very bad manner especially in a workplace. For me, eating while working hours is not OK, too. Still, I've seen it many times. Like you said, maybe they hate theirs and are finding new job.

Another one it's using phone while working, it might be weird for other culture but it does occur even the bank teller. That should be surprised, though now I'm used to it.

  2. It sounds like Ae thinks the animals should be working hard to be productive for Mr. Jones or for the pigs. But I might have misunderstood.

  3. Yeah, it actually should be. It's a very bad manner to say that you hate your job to your colleagues even though you hate it a lot. Saying that will affect other people's thought and might stimulate other people to wonder if they have the right job for them or not.

About eating smelly food, it should be banned not only in the workplace, but also everywhere that can affect lots of people. For example, air-conditioned school, meeting room. Like you said, it would affect them for their concentration on what they're doing, but it is acceptable for me.

  4. Needless to say, it is improper to announce that you hate your job if your company do not spite or deliberately defame you since this will definitely discredit yourself and your boss or co-workers will be not happy to hear like that, possibly getting sacked. So, I guess this action should be concerned mistake in the office. Disliking the current job is one of the common feelings for workers, but why do you have to announce too? If your reason is just to hate work, to announce it seems that you are intentionally trying to attack against your company or your colleagues. But if not, I think you may try to reach a compromise, change the job or solve this problem creatively and legally instead.

Speaking of smelly food, people generally tend to not like someone eating that kind of food in any closed room like the office or classroom. Thus, it would be not a good manner to do if everyone in the room is unacceptable or there is a specific rule for eating any food in that room.
