ReplyDeleteWhen you write in paragraph 2 that "staff of any airline can fix it by checking every machine to make sure that its ready to use not only staff to check machine," do you mean that they can stop accidents from happening?
That seems unlikely to me, although increasing technology is certainly making flying much safer than in the past. I suspect that when cars start driving themselves in the near future that traffic accidents will also become much rarer.
As usual, technology and science are the things making human life life not only longer and more comfortable, but much safer.
I don't think this tragic accident will put me off my next flight to Australia. Actually, I feel safer on a plane than in a car with my mother behind the wheel - that has been a scary experience for several decades now. She's now 84 years old, but still healthy and active, and still driving as badly as ever, alternating speeding with heavy braking. (I love my mum, but that's no reason to be blind to her defects, and a bit nervous when she's driving.)
