Sleep early and Sleep late. Why do we sleep?

Is it bad if do not sleep?  I can surely say that nowadays many people are in this kind of situations, but what is going to be if we still continue lack of sufficient sleep?  Most of people do not care about what is coming to they next after they have got into that situations, which cause none-sleep, for long term.  Getting lack sleeping everyday, the outcome of none-sleep coming closer.  A good way to understand the role of sleep is to look af what would happen if we did not sleep.
Sleep plays a significant role in brain development, as it is essential to maintaining normal levels of cognative skill such as speech, memory, innovative and flexible thinking.  Lack of sleep has serious effect on our brain's ability to function with the following after-effects: grumpiness, grogginess, irritability and forgetfulness.  After just one night without sleep, concentration becomes more difficult and attention span shortens considerably.
Have you guys ever got lack of sleep?  Well, normally I am who sleep before midnight, however, since I have many things to do in one day, i think time is passing very fast!  I started sleeping after midnight last september, as talking to phone every night.  Noticing changes in my life is pretty easy, I sleep late every morning, yes, this means I go to school late, feeling sleepy all the time, also sometime knocked out.  This was pretty bad and still left that as a legacy which ruin my schedule till today, though I stop talking to phone overnight.  I try sleeping early but still did not work.  I can say that it is very suffer when getting none-sleep.  Do not try doing these!

If you going to ask me that as I already know what happen when lack of sleep, why I still do like this?  Well, it is hard to say but I can not change my activities.  But I still get sleeping in the set amount of time that everyone needs to sleep, since it varies from person to person.  Results from the sleep profiler indicate tat people like to sleep anywhere between 5 and 11 hours, with the average being 7.75 hours.  By the way, I still feel tried.  I wish I could slept early, laid down on soft bed, closed my eyes, let dreams pass smoothly.

Do you know that what happens when we sleep?  What happens every time we get a bit of shut eye?  There are two type of sleep, non-REM (rapid eye movement) sleep and REM sleep.  Non-REM sleep has four stages as light sleep, true sleep, deep sleep, and Last stage also called deep sleep but I think it is called nightmare sleep, maybe.  Light sleep is like half awake half asleep, as I was last thursday.  True sleep comes after light sleep within ten minutes, lasting around 20 minutes then fell into deep sleep.  And if we are awakened during deep sleep, we do not adjust immediately and often feel groogy and disoriented for several minutes after waking up.  Some children experience bed-wetting, night terrors, or sleepwalking during this stage.  Have you ever got some of those experiences?  I usually got nightmare, this is very fun dream.  The REM sleep is what when most dreams occur.  Our body are effectively paralysed as for preventing us from acting out our dreams.  That why we feel like some dreams feel real.

Becareful!  If you are thinking that sleep gives the body a chance to recuperate from the day's activities but in reality, the amount of energy saved by sleeping for even eight hours is miniscule, as the same amount of energy in apiece oc toast!  I suggest all you guys sleeping early, it is very good idea as it is the best way to relax.  We spend a third of our lives doing it.

  1. And less work appears to be good for a longer, more productive life ("Get a Life", 2014).
Should I spend less time preparing classes and more sleeping?

  2. When I was young, I always slept 8 hours per day, usually before 10 p.m. But when I grow up, it's difficult to do that. I have many things to do in one day, especially read books and do homework. I think everyone is like me. I wish in a day there are more than 24 hours in order to do everything I want and also more sleep.

  3. I am the one who love to sleep very much. Once I were often get up at noon, and had the same vicious cycle, then went to bed at 3-5am everyday. These are very terrible. Now, I have changed to get up at 7.30-8am and it seems to me that I have more time to read, watch movies and so on. Sometimes I still feel sleepy, but some coffee/tea may help you to awake until your bedtime, which guarantee that you will have no energy left and will sleep early for sure. lol

    1. I can't afford coffee. As I have gastritis and also no breakfast due to sleep late. This is problem when I feel sleepy. As I can't have coffee and I don't like Pepsi, the only way that make me stay awake is talking to something nearby. And if feel very sleepy, no food keep me awake but very tried.

    2. So we may need to nap in order to solve this problem. The article from Wall Street Journal is very interesting and the infographic may be very useful!

  4. I heard this information for long time that we should sleep at least 6-8 hours. But in reality, we can't do it because time is passing so fast and I have a lot of thing to do. In my career, it can't be helped that I will not have enough time to sleep because I have to sent my job according to the schedule and my job always busy in last night of the dead line. So, this is the reason why I always get sleepy in the morning. However, everyone have to take care of their responsibility; even though I feel so sleepy, I still have to get up on time every morning.

  5. I like your cartoon pictures. I think it's funny and easy to be understood. I am also the one that usually get lack of sleep. When I don't have a plenty of sleep, I will feel dizzy and be moody all day. I really hate to have that kind of feeling. Therefore, I try to get plenty of sleep by sleeping early. However, I also find that it is really difficult to change sleeping pattern. For example, I always sleep at around mid night. However, if I want to sleep earlier by changing my sleeping time to be 10.00 pm., I find that I can't sleep immediately. Also, I have to take a longer time to fall asleep and sometime, I have an insomnia. Anyway, I still believe that having plenty of sleep and sleeping early are good for my health, so I'm trying to accomplished them.

    1. I agree that Lack of sleep can cause people feel dizzy and moody. For me, if I have less sleep, I feel like who am I? Where am I? What I am doing? Lol

  6. I've just finished my new paragraph answering Hartmann's question, so I can relax a bit before getting an early night to be well rested for my big day tomorrow. Tuesdays and Thursdays are big - I have two classes on those days, instead of my usual one.

It took me 46 minutes sitting in front of my computer to get a half decent first draft, with some revision, so I suspect it will take you a bit longer.
