Earth population 'exceeds limits'

Earth population 'exceeds limits'

Now,there are too many population living in the Planet Earth. "We have six-and-a-half-billion people on the planet, going rapidly towards seven." All people need foods , water , habitat and medicine. But,the Earth can't support too many people.A National Medal of Science laureate tries to invent genetically modified foods for many people in The Earth. They accept GM food similar in medicine.

*Do you accept GM food? Why? Why not? Give a way to save the earth in many people.

  1. In my view, Before each medicine launch from laboratory have to passed lot of process and testing in animal or human. If the GM food is not toxic to living, So it should has results of testing in animals or human. The best way control population should give knowledge of reproductive in each country

  2. I think if it is a finally way I may accept GM food for living. If it will launch it must approve before.I agree with nana that she say,"The best way control population should give knowledge of reproductive in each country". Especially, india, china, and indonesia.

  3. No..i'm certainly not eccept GM food because that is not for human food. i'll try to plant the crops or teach other people in my village to provide them self.

  4. i can't think of any reason in principle to oppose GM food. That sounds like the speciesest thinking that Stephen Law talks about at the start of "Carving the Roast Beast". Just because somehting is genetically modified doesn't make it good or bad, any more than simply having black skin makes someone less human. If there is evidence that a particular GM food is dangerous, then that would be a good reason to oppose it, but not just because it is a GM food.
We should also oppose eating non-GM foods that are dangerous, such as opium, alcohol and cocaine, which are 100% natural.
