May on Art
A picture in Quest 2 on page 72, This picture is a man who standing and carrying the bowl. This picture is strange because it is not look like general human. His body is round and has tiny arms and has not legs. His head is open like a bowl to contain something such as water or flowers. It made of clay by hands and tools. It has some cracks that mean it was broken at one time. From Quest 2 on page 73"In history, this sculpture is about 2600 years old. It burned incense or held a religious offering to a god of the Edomite people. It was broken in the seventh century B.C.E.when King Josiah ordered his soldiers to destroy the culture of "PAGAN" or non-Jewish religions." It is a piece of art in this chapter.
