An on Art

There is a funeral in the painting, Lamentation from Avignon, France. 1320-1350. Everyone looks very sad in the picture. Some ladies are crying and hugging the dead person. The men are preparing for the funeral. I think they are Christians, because there is a cross at the background. This painting was painted in 1320 to 1350, but the the way people are dressing in the picture I think this case happened nearly the time Jesus Christ was born, maybe before or after but it's not too far. The figure of people in this picture look like the people in Israel, I guess that because when I was young I used to watch the movie about the people in Bible, they are look like.
I'm not interested in art, so when I look at the painting I don't have much feeling.
