My Wife’s Insect Phobia
Kate’s afraid of all kinds of lizard including cockroach
However, at the first time I’ve just afraid to touch them. I can see or stay with them in the same room if they don’t come to near me. After since a swift dropped on my head when I opened my house door, I’ve been more afraid of them. For the question that “How do you deal with this fear?” I’ve just stay away from them. If I see them in my room or place that I stay, I will call other people to help me get rid of them. But if I cannot find anyone to help me, I will go away from that place.
Aor's phobia
Ploy’s fear of high places
When I looked down at the ground, I felt slightly faint and tremble. My hand was wet by my sweat. And then I started cry. I couldn’t stop crying. So that my teacher had to come to help me out. In the end, everybody pressed the practice, expected me. That was a horrible and shame situation.
Earth's opinion about a phobia, a fear ,and healthy fears
Keng Opinion On The Difference of A Phobia and Normal Fear
Fear is an emotional response to somethings or some situations. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain, emergency accident. Fear includes such emotions as happyness, sadness and anger. Fear is not a type of disorder. It is related to the specific behaviors of escape and avoidance or the future events. Everyone can fear but It occurs with external treat and in different sources. who can avoid from fear ?

Euy's explanation about a phobia, a fear ,and healthy fears
"The healthy fears" means that we concern much about our health ,so this makes me us fear for doing something. For example, when someone gives up smoking because they are afraid of developing lung cancer, this is a healthy fear because the danger is real and there are constructive steps they can take to avoid it.

Keng Disagree with Stephen Law On Eating Meat
Tan agree with Stephen Law that eating meat is wrong
In my opinion, I agree with Law that is morally wrong to eat meat. According to Law argument, the strongest reason which is convinces me, it is not necessity for eating meat to stay healthy. There are millions of people in the world who are vegetarians living healthy lives without eat meat. I think, it just human selfishness that always tries to seek their best welfare, and ignore other pain. I’m quite sure that there is no reasonable argument why we have right to eat them. However, most people still eating meat although they know that is wrong, because they got use to it. I think it is a good idea to try to adapt our behavior, by reduce eating meat, quit eating animals sometimes

Kriss disagree Stephen Law's idea
Aor's agree eating meat really is immoral
Kate disagree with Law about eating meat
First of all, on page 138 about “Health and design”, Gemma said that “There are millions of people across the world living healthy lives without meat.” I don’t agree with this statement because I believe that no one can grow up and has a good health without eating any animal flesh. As the supporting data that Euy searched for us in the last topic about "Food Pyramid of the Month", people need to consume animal flesh because it provides us many essential proteins, which our bodies cannot synthesize by themselves, for growing up and having a good health. So, everybody needs these proteins for growing up when they were young. It means that we all used to consume animal flesh before.
Moreover, in accordance with Mr. Wilson said on page 138 that “We’re designed to eat meat, aren’t we? We have canine teeth.” I agree with this statement because each organ in all kinds of animals is designed to be suitable for their living. For example, stomachs of the cattle are parted to be four compartments because they can help the cattle digest their food and provide those essential fatty acids and protein from plants while stomachs of other animal are not like these. Like canine teeth of human, they are provided to help us rip animal meat. I believe the natural already creates the suitable features of each organ for each kind of animal including human. So, having canine teeth of human means we are designed to eat meat.
According to the reasons and the examples that I say above, I totally disagree with Law’s opinion.

Ann disagrees with Law in eating meat topic
For example, we don't want to kill tortoise because it has a very long life. A short-lived animal will die within a few years although we don't kill it. Second, in a society that has a social bond, he cannot convince me. He talked about one race that we don't have social bonds with them. We shouldn't kill them because they have a complex social bond in their society. If we have a social bond with an animal, we won't kill it because we love it. For example, we look after a cat or dog as a pet. Surely we don't want to kill it. If we take care a pig or chicken for months and we love it, we will protect it from other people and won't let it die. This is like a impaired person. Although he has not a sophisticated emotion but his parent still love him, so his parent won't let him die. Third, I think we don't eat a trainable animal such as dolphin, monkey and bird. If we can teach pig, fish, duck and chicken, I think we won't kill them. From my above reasons, I still think eating meat isn't morally wrong.

Earth stongly disagree with the immorality of eating meat in Law’s essay
Pin’s opinion about the morality of eating meat in Law’s essay
First of all, in the topic of health and design, he says “we don’t need to eat meat to stay healthy”. It is wrong because a human being needs protein to survive and get healthy. Proteins are the most important nutrition. They are essential in the diet of humans for the growth and repair of tissue, especially when you get sick. Furthermore, in a basic of sciences, there is a food chain in the ecological community that constitutes a continuation of food energy from one organism to another as each consumes a lower member and in turn is preyed by a higher member. Therefore, it is morally acceptable that people who are the largest members of the world can eat meat.
The second point is that Law discusses the idea about animals which have no sense of right or wrong, so we cannot blame them for they kill and eat each other, not like humans. I do not think so, because animals have sense; such as dogs. They know who are their owners, so they will not kill people to eat, and they have sense of what species they can eat. On the other hand, tigers and other cruel animals hurt and eat humans; thus, why humans should not eat them.
All of these reasons; hence, it is morally acceptable that a human being cans eat meat.

Carving up roast animals: What do you think?
Every year in the UK, more than 25 million turkeys are killed for our Christmas dinner. Is this mass slaughter justifiable merely to satisfy our preference for a certain kind of meat? Shouldn't we be carving nut cutlets instead? The Wilson family are sat around the Christmas dinner table. Dad is carving the turkey when he glances a little apprehensively at his eldest daughter, Gemma.Mr. Wilson: Some turkey, Gemma?Gemma: Of course not. You know I'm a vegetarian.Mrs Wilson: Only since last week. And it's Christmas. Can't you join in just this once?Gemma: No. It's morally wrong to eat meat. I'm not going to do something morally wrong just to make you happy.Much the same conversation will be familiar to parents around the world. Teenagers are increasingly becoming vegetarians, often on moral grounds. It can be irksome for the parents: special meals have to be cooked and time and effort put into making sure that their offspring get a balanced diet.Still, while Gemma's views might be inconvenient, that doesn't make them mistaken. And in fact Gemma does have some rather good arguments up her sleeve. (Law, 2003, pp. 124 - 5)

First of all, I interested in an Engineering area.According to my interest, I finished the bachalor degree of Industrial Engineering. Moreover, I planned to learn engineering since I was young because my father is an engineer. Therefore, I wished to be a good working person like him. However,To study in engineering was not an easy way because I had to work very hard. Therefore, I cannot get good scores in my university's life. From this reason, I realized that I have to plan for other fields that I can do better than this.
Ann's Academic Interests

Kate's Academic Interests
After I graduated, I also worked in finance and accounting departments because I want to know do I really like this field? But after I worked, I can realize that I don't want to work in this field anymore. But I'm interested in marketing job. So, for my master's degree, I will not certainly choose to focus on finance.

Peter's Academic Interests
At university, I began a science degree with majors in physics and mathematics, but at teh end of high school, I had already started to read philosophy and study languages, so I changed my degree, and majored in philosophy and mathematics, with a couple of dead languages. These were not very useful subjects to study for getting a job, but I'm glad I studied them. Today, I still read a lot in philosophy and I also like to keep up with progress in science, as you can see from some of the magazines I recommend: New Scientist, and Scientific American, for example.
In philosophy, my main areas of interest are moral philosophy, but at the moment I'm also reading a lot in philosophy of mind, which is about questions like teh nature of human consciousness, whether we have minds, how could free will exist, and things like that.
