Jennifer's Non-Academical interests

Recently I am interested in BigBang, a K-POP group. I've never been interested in young idol group before. About two  months ago I had a chance to watch G-Dragon's
(the leader of BigBang)second solo album's new MVs. They were very energetic, creative and exciting.  I spent a lot of time for searching informations about BigBang and G-Dragon so I am a specialist of them.^^ Every day I listen to their music so my
children also became their fans. Sometimes my kids sings with dances that makes me
laugh. However, my husband's reaction of my interests is out of my expectation. He looks envy them. Oh Man!

  1. I don't normally follow modern pop, of any nationality. The only one I can actually name is Lady Gaga, who has managed to catch my attention, and after seeing her on the news for a year or so, I even visited YouTube and watched one of her videos.

I like some of her ideas and the stands she takes, but I might leave her music and stick with the hits of my generation - Bowie, Queen, and stuff like that.

    1. I'm smiling now. Seeking new interests is good for ourselves in many ways I think. Especially it's very helpful to reduce stress in my life. See you tomorrow.

    2. And we do want to limit the stress - maybe not eliminate stress, but keep it within reason. You should not, for example, lose too much sleep worrying about my class. But you probably should lose some sleep.

I sometimes like to relax by watching really mindless action films - and I've just finished the final checks of the final drafts of your essays, so something very mindless might be just what my brain needs right now.

Aaah - but I still have to clean up the final final drafts to send to everyone with the grades and the slightly revised list of excerpts I've copied and pasted for us to look at. And I might revise the format of that a bit too. I think numbers would be more useful than bullets.

And then there is the next academic writing assignment to prepare to hand out tomorrow ... and ...

But I agree with Jae that you shouldn't get too stressed out.

      Keep smiling.

  4. One of my close friend is really crazy about "EXO", I am not sure but I think this is one of Korean boy-band. Surprisingly, her boyfriend reacts in the same way as your husband. She often argue with him because she has posted and left so many comments about this group on Facebook. This makes her boyfriend really envy this band because she just occasionally respond to his comments on her timeline.
