I'm still dreaming, aren't I

"Late morning at 4.35 a.m.(local time), 2010 September 3, Christchurch, while some people probably having nightmares in their dreams, the real nightmare occurring outside.”

This morning reported in The New York Times, Citizens of Christchurch were woke-up by an 7.1 Richter earthquake which its epicenter located in rural area near the second large city of New Zealand with 350,000 populations. There were two injuries reported; one has injured from fell chimney and another from cut by glass. The destructions caused many buildings collapsed, therefore, their debris were crushed cars, spreaded on the street, and blocked the city transportation. The city's utilities have troubles also such as, power black out and water not running. There were reported that many roads are subsidence. Moreover, aftershocks around 5.2 Richter have occurred several times.

They were lucky that the earthquake took place on land, therefore, there would be a tsunami came after, referred from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
