pregnant woman have many believe about food that they eat when pregnant have be effect to their child. In example, if they want to eat sweet thing, their child will be cleaver.(สารานุกรมวัฒนธรรมไทย,2542) In my opion, I think that it have a little effect. in this article that I read, I see a link between mpther condition and brain of their child.
In “Thank mothers for large ape brains”, Michael Marshall point out that it have study that show link between metabolic rate and brain size in placental mammals. the result of this study is if mother has a high metabolic rate, the baby will have high brain's develope rate that give baby have large brain.
In my opion,mother condition when pregnant have many effect to baby in developing topic ,such as stress that be dangerous for baby in uterus ,but it has another effect that increase rate of development of baby to prepare for preterm birth.I think in this article ,if mother is hyperthyroid disease that have high metabolic rate, baby will have large size of brain than normal baby ,but maybe have a thyroid problem.I doesn't sure that large brain can mean high IQ or not ,but in my opion, it is not mean that.
