What interests Ko today
This week, I'm reading the book, which I read when I was young. I read it again this week. The book's name is Catch Me If You Can. It's a true story that happen to the man. The man is Frank Abagnale Jr. He's never graduated in University, but he can be a teacher. He's never studies about law, doctor, or pilot, but he can be a lawyer, a doctor, and a pilot. He can do everything what he wants. He is a clever, but not a good man. Because he cheat money from the bank and other people. In my opinion, I like this story, because I think we can learn something about him. For example, If he want to be a lawyer, he will read anything he should know. And he has confident when he did his work and diligent too. I think It's a good personalities for me or everyone.

Was he a good doctor? That one sounded the most difficult to me.
ReplyDeleteBut then I remembered when I was in junior high school studying biology. My teacher, who I now think was very foolish, let me do an experiment where I anaesthetised a rat, removed its appendix, and sewed it up. The rat seemed to recover very well from my 14 year old surgery, and went on to live a happy, healthy life until I killed it a month later so that I could check to see how well it had healed internally.
It didn't seem that difficult, but perhaps one successful operation on a rat is not a good reason to let me operate on people.
Which occupation do you think would be the most difficult to fake? I think I want to change my mind from medicine to being a pilot - I think flying a plane might be the most challenging.
Does the novel relate to your current academic interests, or is it just something you are enjoying reading?
This movie's one of my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI agree with NK, it's a good movie. It's curious to see how a smart man can become a pilot without spend one day in an expensive aviation academy.
