Apple drops '4G' from iPad adverts

When we saw the advertisement, you can be known that it was true, especially, when we buy a new technology product.

According to the article “Apple drops '4G' from iPad adverts” from BBC, there is the problem with the slogan of “The new iPad” in the UK and another country. It claims that “The new iPad” is a 4G device. This advertisement will make the consumers believe that it can use the 4G frequency network in their country because the 4G that use in the U.S. is a different frequency from another region. So the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) concern about this problem. They want to cut the word “4G”. Apple Company will cut this word and use “The new iPad wifi+cellular”. From my opinion, it is the better way to make consumer to understand the meaning. The consumer can make a decision to by or not from the new slogan because maybe Apple will launch the new model that supports 4G in another region outside the U.S.
This is the good thing to make it clear about the advertisement. The authority Unit in the U.K. can help the consumer to know about the fact. I wish the authority Thailand could learn this example to protect the consumer to know the fact. This will help the people in Thailand to be a smart buyer.
