I'd like to study about politics and history which are my major and minor where I was in undergraduate school. Besides, some subject of social science are also my interests such as Psychology and Business.
For writing skill, I need to improve vocabularies in which I don't think I cannot do well for academic English. Also, I do write slowly, especially in the computer, so I need to you provide many chance for me to write and rewrite often. Assigning me to read and write a response writing a News's article might be one of the best way to improve the skill.

I'm also interested in politics, although it's another subject I've never studied at university, except that I have done courses in political philosophy and what moral philosophy has to say about different political systems - I'm sure that in principle communism, for example, is immoral. And so are the similarly despotic laws that many governments love against the free choices of their citizens when it comes to things like drugs and sex. How can a law that throws someone into prison for an action that has not harmed any one else, such as using heroin or yaa baa at home, be moral? It can't be. It is unjust. And yet such immoral laws are very popular even in democracies. It's very worrying.
ReplyDeleteHistory also fascinates me, but most of the history I've studied is about 2,000 years old, or older. I think I know more about ancient Greece adn Rome than most modern nations.
What do think about Thailand's drug laws, for example?
DeleteAre they effective or a failure?
Are they just or unjust?
Why are they popular?
Are they popular?
Same here! I'm not good a writing either.
ReplyDeleteOne time, I really wants to study the politics and history. But I don't think I can do it. It too much information to remember. But you can do that! You are so awesome! Anyway,we have same interests both Psychology and Business.
Oh really ? Politics, esp. in Thailand, is so changeable all the time. That's why i've found it attractive. Anyway, studying in Univ. you don't have to remember all of those info., ... talk later i hv to leave now.
DeleteN'Ying, I really hate learning political science because reading it makes me taking many naps!!! Zzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteIn high school, I had studied it before entering undergraduate and the admission required its score. At that time, I studied it very hard in vain and felt exhausted because its details were too MUCH information, as I agree with N'Pear. When the test date came, I felt nervous and had to take the ugly test inevitably. Fortunately, entering Engineering didn't consider political science's score, 19/100! How lucky is!!!
Anyway, your dreams are coming truth and you can be flying person, did you remember we had discussed about time during our listening class?
Again, you are flying person!lol
