I am interested in law and criminology. That is why I decided to study in law school. I have found law is very important to my life because law is around us and law can be applied in every aspect in life. To illustrate, law can be applied with accounting because accountants should pass test to be get Audit licenses. in addition, if someone wants to drive, that person has to get a driving license otherwise that person cannot drive. These can indicate that laws are everywhere and it is imperative to know about them.
For criminology, I think it is very interesting field that can expand person's mind to understand the real factors that make someone commit crime rather than think that the person who commit a crime is a bad person. This is because everyone were born and raised in different ways. Some may not have an opportunity to be a good person. So, we should be open-minded for them to rehabilitate.

ReplyDeleteI am also interested in criminology, in particular, criminal behaviour studies. I think it’s important to understand the criminals’ motivation and external influences to prevent crimes.
ReplyDeleteCriminology became one of my interests after watching many crime series like Law and Order, NCIS and Criminal Minds. Although these shows are created for entertainment, they are very well-researched. The shows let the audiences explore the reasons behind the crimes, the investigative technologies, and the predictions of the criminal behaviours. One thing I learned from these series is that there’s always a reason behind the crime and if you know the reason, you can predict or even prevent it.
