How can we get rid of racism from human society?

The article, Australia charges a man over Indian boy's death, in BBC News let me think about many problems that happened from having different races or religions around the world. I really wonder why humans have to hurt the others just because of the differences that nobody can determine.

This article reported that a three-year-old Indian boy, who came from India to visit his mom staying in Australia, the north of Melbourne, during his holiday died and his body was found beside the road far from the house around 30 km. Although a cause of death has not been concluded yet and no injury was found on the boy’s body, police supposed that this might be a homicide. This is because there have been Indian people were attacked due to racist in Australia in the past year.

In my opinion, killing other people because of racist is much worse than discrimination that people just treat others unequally. Actually, these bad events should not happen in humans’ society because we all have the same an important thing that is the right to stay alive. We should not decide that who should be alive or dead by their race. I believe that if everyone can choose to be born anywhere, people will choose to be born in a good place for sure. Therefore, the worse place people born, the more we should help them.
