Thailand invokes emergency laws before rally

When I watching the news on TV, the reporters always report the news about a "red shirt" protest. It is an interesting news for me because the protest may affect to people who live in Bangkok and its outskirts area.

According to article "Thailand invokes emergency laws before rally",The Royal Thai government has announced the Internal Security Act from 11-23 March, in Bangkok and seven surrounding provinces to bring back a peachful situation. This is be cause the "red shirt" who are supporter of former prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted in a military coup in 2006 plan to rally the protest canpeign until the government calls new elections. The article mentioned that The Internal Security Act will "puts the military in charge, with powers to impose curfews, restrict numbers at gatherings and man check points if they deem such measures necessary".

In my opinion, I support that the government should impose emergency laws. As previous lesson in April 2008, it is probably have a violence if the government d0 not impose emergency laws to prevent the crowd to protest. The last but not lease, I pray God blesses all of Thais to have a peachful country.
