According to the research of the Mayo Clinic team said that Waist fat is a new heart risk and can dead. After that, they should advice the patients reduce the risk If people was carrying fat aroundthe waist.

I think , nobody knows that waist fat is a severe disease which can make the peoole die. I just know the waist fat disease when I read BBC News. In generally, there are several causes of obesity, such as genetics, enviromental factors, medicienes and so on. The cause of obesity is simply when people consume more calories from food than the body can burn. Especially, fast food is a cause of obesity because of the ingredients have a trans fat, which it is the effect health such as heart risk, diabetes and fat. Morever, the chubby don't like to eat vegetables and love to eat desserts.Furthermore, some people like to watch TV or play games and eat the snack until the midnight, then they usually eat late meals in the night, after that they go to sleep. In addition, they don't take care of their healthy and neglect the exercise. In all of these factor this is the cause of obesity. Children in Thailand also have high-risk behaviors. For example, the parents spoil them by giving them snacks. All of these eating habits lead to the major fat problem . In my opinion, the waist fat is one of the fat problem.

  1. P'Tip,
    I agree with you.
Many people are facing with fat disease because they lack of exercise and too much to eat. There are many diseases that causes from fat not only heart risk, but also hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cancer and so on. However, it is serious problem that we shouldn't ignore our caring health. Firstly, we should control food by reducing the amount of food and choosing the right kind of food such as fruit and vegetable. Secondly, exercise should be appropriate and consider intensity, duration and frequency. All of these will make the exercise more effective in burning fat. Finally, eating behavior modification is a very important step. It means to change some personal habits. Don't eat food as you like it. You should know the advantages and disadvantages of each type of food. For example, eating khao kha mu, you don’t think that it is on a diet but you don't eat because it is high cholesterol and not good for your health.

I read one chapter of Chinese history which is the topic of smoking and drinking. The men can not smoke and drink, which is not a gentleman. So he has to do them. This is a Chinese concept and traditional, they don't believe that smoke can cause a cancer ,so they do not give up smoking. I disagree with you because smoking and eating fatty pork are not the same. Some of scientist said that if say that the second hand smoker is worse than smoker because he breaths the bad smell and gets a cancer.

  3. Thip,
The Chinese tradition is clearly wrong - smoking and drinking are both very dangerous. Both alcohol and tobacco are very harmful drugs of addiction, and if Chinese and their traditions think otherwise, then those traditional beliefs are completely wrong.

Could you explain why you think fatty pork and smoking are not the same? Is it because eating fatty pork does not as directly harm people near by? If so, then I agree, but my argument that laws banning smoking on private property is that it denies people a free choice of whether to go to a smoking or non-smoking venue to relax Provided the choice is free and consenting, it does not matter whether the smoking is direct or second-hand - non-smokers should have the same right to decide to go to a smoking or non-smoking pub as smokers.

  4. I agree with Kukik that many people know what kind of food is good or bad for them. The important thing is they sometimes cannot control themselves to eat food. It's a bit hard to eat good food all the time and sometimes not easy to find good food as well. For example, If you are in boarding school, you don't have several choices for food. Even it's not good enough, you have to eat that food for sure. I think it depends on what situations you are in. So, try to eat good food as much as you can in oreder to avoid any disease.

I said that fatty pork and smoking are not the same.First, when you ate a lot of fatty porks, you felt fat and high cholesterol after you checked in the hospital.Second, you can reduce you weight and cholesterol by excerise and take medicine. Then, you stopped eating fatty pork and consumed vegetable and fishe instead of fatty pork. It can avoid over weight and disease. On the other hand, the smoke rose into the air when we often breathed the smoke and can accmulate it into lung.At first we don't know the smoke is dangerous and still have not symptom until we are uncomfortable. For example,a seller grilled the pork or chicken and he smelled every day. After that he got a lung cancer,he is my relative.Although, smoking cigarette and the smoke are dangerous.
    I agreed with susana.
