Will we have the cure for HIV?

The number of bearers of HIV has been increasing considerably all over the world and this preoccupying die tends in view that the specialized organs in the search of effective treatment for the cure of this disease, but still doesn't have a solution. However, it seems not to be the case in China. As we can check in the article “HIV – related deaths fall in China” on the BBC News demonstrated what the actions.

According to the news, “efforts to improve access to HIV drugs in China have cut deaths more than 60% in seven years, researchers say” (2011 ¶ 1). Through the anti-retroviral drugs, China starts the treatment in 2003 and it has been improving the life of these people considerably. However, specialist in the subject there are a lot of things has to be done to improve the access close to the treatment the risk groups. In addition, Lead author Professor Fujie Zhang, from the National Centre for Aids/STD Control and Prevention, in Beijing, said: "Given the size of the country and the geographical spread of individuals with HIV... China's treatment coverage is remarkable... but it is far from the goal of complete coverage of people who meet the treatment criteria." (2011 ¶ 6).

I think, that with this good news in China, we already have a beginning for a process of eradication of HIV, but, it is needs to be done much more on the part of the rulers and organs of health of the countries so that all of the bearers can have access, mainly to the medicine and later to an appropriate treatment so that they can have a dignity life. One of the factors that has been hindering the treatment of a lot of people is the financial subject tends in view that the medicines more used in the treatment AIDS have a monetary value very loud cause of this, the considerable increase of cases in countries of low income. Another factor that contributed to the increase of cases of this disease is that most of the people that they live with HIV continue to ignore his/her state serologic. Low conscience of the personal risk of infection for HIV and the fear of the stigma and of the discrimination they are also some factors that contributed in this statistical increase. In summary, if more effective attitudes be not taken with reference this disease, we will have a considerable increase of the number of bearers of HIV next years instead of the eradication or at least the decrease of cases of the disease.
