    1. The work of art I like best of these three is Cartier-Bresson's photograph taken in an Italian village. I like the way the lines and shapes work together to lead us into and through the scene. This starts with the very strong, black lines of the railing, is picked up by the wall that is also the edge of the road, and then the road rail before wondering into the the distant hills via the wall of the house. The positions of the human figures, old women and young girls, also follow the linear arrangement, with the front group's line cutting through the line formed by the stair rail and road.
The black and white colour keeps the focus on the shapes and forms, without distracting colours. I suspect this photograph is better not in colour. Independently of the forms and their arrangement, the content is interesting, showing daily life in a small town, with the people going about normal life, a church, games, and so on.

My second favourite is Laetitia's painting of a street scene in Haiti. The Rockwell is fun and entertaining, but for how long is that enough?

    2. I like The Art Critic by Norman Rockwell, 1955 the mst because this shows the color the tone of the image. The picture is some what like a photo with brite color. I loves how the color is used with. The compostition is very good since the focus of the painting is in the center of it. The details is one of the componet that i like because there are many detail for use to look such as a drawing at the write of that man. There is the painter's name in the drawing too!!

Unfortunatly, I dont know any thing relate to this picture except the color and the composition. But I think that is is very funny when i carefully look at each painting in the image. I think the painter is trying to make fun of art critique.

    3. I like the first one more. It is very detailed and had a good meaning. I think it is a sarcastic comment on critics. They use magnifying glass to look for a specific part of the art just to find artists' mistakes. To appreciate art, we should look at it as a whole, not just a part. The people in the painting on the wall of the picture also give the critics a sarcastic and almost disdainful look. Comparing this to other picture, I think the first one is better because it shows the skill of the artist, and also convey the meaning. The second picture, on the other hands, only show skill of using graphite. Although it is quite difficult to turn color that we see into grey scale, I could not see any meaning in this piece of work. And the last one does not impress me. It is out of proportion. the color are monotonous. And there is nothing that catches my eyes.

    4. I like the first picture the most. From the technique and color the painter used, I find this painting is realistic and artistic at the same time. It's also a very sophisticated artwork, telling from the details on the picture frame and the freckles on the man's face. The expression of the lady in the painting is also interesting. It seems like she knows that she is being examined. The guys on in the painting next to the lady's also interested in what the man with microscope is doing.

We can see in the painting that this man is examining the piece of art closely by using a microscope. We can infer from his action and his equipment that he would be a critic or a judge who responsible for selecting the artworks to be shown in the exhibition.

    5. In fact, I don't know about any of these pieces of art but I like the second picture which only has black and white colors. In my opinion, the second picture is the real picture which is different from the rest of two pictures. It shows about conditions in that area, people, buildings and their architecture. In addition, this second picture shows us that it had been taken for long time ago because it's not the color picture so that the camera which was used was still low technology in that time.

    6. According to the first picture, "The Art Critic by Norman Rockwell", I like it the most because it has very beautiful painting. The artistic created fine work by drawing a lot of details and painting like a real one. Looking at this picture, I think that the artistic would like the reader guess his meaning too.

Actually, I have limited knowledge of Art because I didn't study Art field while I was studying in the university. So, I don't know anything about these pieces of art.

    7. I like the third picture with a vivid color because I feel fresh when I look at it and there are several details to see such as students with their parents, old cars, dog and mountain. People there seem to live together happily in the community. The style of houses and road also reminds me of Old town, Phuket that is my favorite place.

I like the second picture the least. This is because black and white color makes the mood and tone of the picture dull and not fresh unlike the other two. It makes me feel like people who live in this community might be unhappy with their life.

    8. I like the third one because I think it convey the scene of the black people. They live happily together in the village,They help each others to do things.Maybe the artist want to show the different side of black community that people have stereotype that it full of drugs and bad influence but I also think that the artist want to indicate that if everyone is equal and with no discrimination people can live happily together.
I don't really the second one because it the scene look scary.

    9. I like Street Scene, Haiti, by Laetita the most. The color used in this art work is soft and clam for me. Also, it is easy to understand than other abstract work. The painting represent the living of people in the town. The women with the red skirt is very pop out in the center of this painting. I'm not sure if it the artist intention to make her outstanding from other characters because the use of color is different. Most people and objects in the painting are in cool tone while she has a vivid red skirt. Overall, I find this painting is cute and interesting with many details and stories of people in the painting.

    11. I like the last one- the Street Scene, Haiti, by Laetitia, most. When I see the picture, I can feel the happiness from the picture. The colorful picture and the interaction among people in the community reminds me of things we are lack of today. At this day, people are living in a hectic life style. Everyone is busy and has no time even look at ones around them. Or even when they do not really have the important things to do, they tend look down at their smart devices and start finding something to kill their times. Sometimes, I even wonder that they are afraid to be with themselves or not. For the first picture, I think the artist tries to make joke on how people appreciate the beauty of art. For the second picture, it perfectly depicts people's living in that period. It might be useful for historians, but it does not attract my attention much.
