Numwan's Favourite Work of Art
Ma favorite piece of art is Juicy Salif by Philip Starck. This citrus squeezer is one of the most famous piece of him.It's the icon of an industrial design and post modernism .Even others designers have developed high technology citrus squeezer but this one consider as the most aesthetics as their ergonomics is perfect.I really like the shape of it.The shape look like a spider to me even if it can't really use as the citrus squeezer but as a piece of art it look perfect.When you put many of them together it looks like army of spiders.Actually,he got ipiration base on the shape of squid while he was squeezing lemon juice in an Italian Pizzeria while he started eating calamari.He started drawing and at the end the drawing look similar to squid.Many people don't like it because they think product design suppose to used effectively but I think it can be both for aesthetics or functions.
