Glory be to our friend

Dear Gloria and everyone,

This is the first time I take course at AUA. The first day I came to Ajarn.Peter's class, it was late (as often) and I remember that you suggested me to do things. We sat together sometimes, but I was impressed with your friendliness, your competence, and your dedication in work. I often find you learning English and Thai in extra time after class. I have many impressive things despite the short period of time.
Today, I was sorry to find that you have left Thailand already. However, I am sure that you will be successful. Enjoy your study in China. You will be my model when I study Master. I am sure we are all happy to have you.

Good luck, Gloria

  1. Thank you Naya,
I have enjoyed having Gloria in my classes a few times over the past six months or so. And this term I was impressed by her dedication and commitment when she signed up to study again, even though she knew it could only be for the first two weeks.

And she did the homework last night and today, including a very good peer review, as June can confirm!

    Thank you Gloria.

I will miss the old day that we went to interview those foreigners together! Remember? I knew it! Of course, you can! Haha! XD

  4. I remember I said to you that I thought you are from Korea. I haven't figured out yet why, but may be you name make me thought like that, or something else. Wherever in China or Korea or U.S., I wish you have a good luck and be happy all the time.

  6. Ohh!! I've just know that. I'm so sorry that I've no chance to say goodbye to you. Although, we didn't talk together too much, but I'm glad to see you and hope you will succeed in everything in your life.

    Good luck Gloria :)

  7. That is very kind of you, Naya, to post the blog here and we all can send our greetings to Gloria.
I feel a little bit sorry for myself. I am the closest one with Gloria. I had a lunch with her once and we sat down in the cafeteria and chatted with other friends several times. On her last day at AUA, we were at the cafeteria, and she told me that she was leaving that night. I wished her good luck and a safe and good trip, however I didn't take that chance to tell her how much I have appreciated and admired her. She is so kind and generous, always willing to help at any time. She is very diligent and dedicates all her time to study in AUA. Even on her busy day of arriving at China, she still managed to do her final homework, peer review my essay. Her review is so good, some points she made were very similar to Peter's opinion. Her excellent homework together with the constructive comments from both Peter and Sun helped me make a very good essay. I take the opportunity here to say thank you to Gloria, Peter and Sun. Thank you for your great job, it is really helpful for me.
Usually, Chinese people are very shy and not used to express their feeling to others. Just like me, even though I like Gloria very much, I just remember her in my heart and didn’t take the chance to show my feeling to her. When I saw Naya's post and the comments from Peter and other classmates, I feel very warm and I think Gloria will feel the same like me.
Gloria, you are the best. I will always remember you. Good Luck!
