Womb for rent: A tale of two mothers

When people graduated from university. They want to find the job first, then, they will look for couple. After they married, most of them would like to have a children, but not everyone can have baby easily. Therefore, renting womb is a popular choice for women who are difficult to pregnant a baby.
According to surrogate mothers in the Akshanka clinic in Anand, GuJarat. It is very successful and growing quickly in India. Due to the surrogacy has high cost in Europe and the US, so many western women want to find outsourceing pregnancy in abroad while the poor population in western state of Gujarat would like to earn more money for buying a house, paying off loan or sending their children to school. "A surrogate is generally paid about 300,000 rupees($6,800.)". Morever,Dr Nayna Patel is a famous surrogate doctor in India because he is delivered the first baby in Anans's town. Now, he runs the work at the Nayna patel clinic.
Most of Europe are banned commerical surrogacy such as Italy.Germany and France, it is illegal. Since 2002, the surrogacy has been legal in the US, in the Ukrain and in India. Especially, India has a lot of controversial procedure. Therefore, India issue the surrogacy law is " The Assisted Reprocuctive Technologies (ART) Regulartion Bill 2010 would mean that: Surrogates will have to be 21-35 years old and can only undergo five live births, including their own children. Surrogates will not be allowed to donate their own eggs to a couple and will forego any rights to the child.
From my view, This article is really good because it can help some couple who are infertile. surrogate mothers are really great , she bearing someone's kid for their happenies.
I encourage this surrogate mother because it can help some women need earn more money and also help some couple want to baby. However, every governments should issue the law to protect two parties for deceiving.

  1. Although renting a womb can help some couples who can't have babies, it is a bad idea.

Its a good idea because couple's who can't have a baby in the woman's womb can have a baby that is really helpful.

In contrast, it is a bad idea for sereval reasons. First of all,the surrogate mother feels like the real mother because of carrying it.The result is that mother and surrogate mother always have conflict about the babies, because both of them think that they are babies'mother. They have responsibilities to look after the babies. Moreover,it is not good for children's life. If they know that they have two mothers, they must be confused and feel unacceptable.Consequencly,it can make children cannot concentrate on their study.

  2. Personally, if I have to make decision to have surrogate mother or not, I don't know the answer yet. There are many ways helping a couple to have children. But to raise them is more difficult. Sometime I feel that people today take less time thinking about how to take care of children than how to have them. Using mother instinct, somehow, is now enough for present time.

  3. I actually read this article because it is controversial and forces people to think carefully about the moral issues involved. I think that Sonal makes this very clear in her comment at the end of the story, where she is quoted as saying, "I have no regrets, even if society casts me out or does not invite me in, I don't care. I am not doing a bad thing, I am doing this for my children,"

How do we decide what is morally right and wrong?
Sonal clearly rejects the popular relativist idea that what a society accepts is what makes something morally right or wrong, that all cultures or societies are morally equal. I agree with Sonal - just because a majority or a long cultural tradition accept something seems to me an awful reason to think that it is morally right, although its a reason that dictators and authoritarians love because it supports slavery, the suppression of free speech, religious intolerance, civil rights violations and other evils.
