Bo's Academic Interests.

Actually every time when I look at the sky I always got a question and sometime got an answer. When I was seventeen-year-old I found myself fond of everything about astronomy; for example novels, movies, and I love to go to the planetarium when they have new astronomy movie on air. I learned how to read the sky by myself (sometimes) and with my zero astronomic education I got nothing much but imagination, and this is where my journey started.

In 2005, I was a fine art student in major of Thai Art at Silpakorn University and of course inspiration is power of expression. With my passions, the combination of art and the objects in outer space expressed in my every piece of art work until now. Moreover, I've learned about Thai Believe Astronomy and this thing change my life. As I learn more about the ideal of Buddhism and Buddhism astronomy I began to interest in Yoga and meditation, both are about the connection between ourselves and the universe.

Furthermore, I also impress in benefit of meditation and then my new journey began again. I read more book about mental and In began a philosophy interest and found the connection between my overall passionate fascinate which is about art, mind, and science. Since then I re-collection myself and set up my goals, I am going to merge all of my academic interest together and do something worthwhile.

  1. Reading Bo's thoughtful post, I wondered why I had not taken more interest in the skies as a child and in high school. I loved learning about the beliefs of the ancients about the stars in the sky, in my case, this meant ancient Greek and Roman beliefs, not Thai, although I suspect that the motivations, if not the details, have some similarities. The native people of Australia also have ancient stories about the Milky Way and other astronomical phenomena, but I can't remember any of those. I suspect that every culture has such stories.

  2. Thank you for your comment, recently I get interest in the ancient Egyptian belief and found some similarities compared with present-day. I think they all have some kind of sybolistic meaning and ideologue. I am interest in every sky phenomena and I also heard that in Australia have the increadible astronomic phenomena, I mean the southern lights 'Aurora' which is different appearence from the northern lights and I really want to have experiences about that as well.

Moreover, it seems that you can connect everything around with your art works. I think that it is a very important skill for artist to create a wonderful art work. It make me want to see some of you works. It should be very impressive.
