What we read
We have now read and checked our understanding of both "The Metropol Parasol" and of "Designing solutions."
Our response
As usual, Bixby and Scanlon now invite us to think critically about the ideas in what we have read.

Bixby and Scanlon's questions
Think about the ideas from "The Metropol Parasol" and "Designing solutions" (Bixby & Scanlon, 2013, p. 22), and discuss these questions in a comment. Then reply to at least two of your classmates' comments.
- What are some of the differing opinions about each project? Which opinions do you agree with?
- Think of an area in your town, city or country that could somehow be changed to improve the residents' lives. Suggest ideas for redesigning and making improvements to the area. Discuss the pros and cons of each.
