Nan on how is a phobia different from a normal fear?

We can seperate phobia from normal fear by how do they deal with fear. The normal fear is found in everyone. If they are facing with something they hate, they'll run away. It's easy to solve this problem. After that, they forget it all and live without worry. However, the phobia cannot control themself if they are facing with something. They'll cry, scream and run away. They are not forget it but think about it all the time. As a result, they cannot do anything. They need someone to tell that it's OK or you're safe.

  1. Hmm, that doesn't sound like Aom's or my experience of our phobias. I don't think it sounds like Art's friend's either. What did you think as you read their responses?
