Phobia and normal fear - MAA

Phobia differs from a normal fear because of these.
1) Phobia is a severe anxiety, but the normal fear is not the severe anxiety. The normal fear is mild or moderate anxieties, not the mental disorder.
2) Phobia is not seen in the majority of people, while the normal fear can be seen in the majority.
3) Phobia is a fear in the real dangers, but the normal fear could be in any, such as fears against lizards or objects like needles, fears in burn or cold, fears to stay alone, fears to pain.
4) most phobia patients avoid or could not tolerate that fear, but people with normal fears avoid but could tolerate their fear such fears to high places or dark rooms.
5) Phobia patients “seem unable to free themselves” of that fear, so they may not live with diary life, while people with normal fears could take care themselves and be in their society.
