BBC News

Yesterday I read the BBC news, it was about agony if missing children in Delhi, India. There were 6000 children have been reported missing in the last two years, and only about 1 in 10 have been found. Almost the missing children are from Delhi’s poorer communities. According to a family whose daughter was disappeared, they did many ways to find their daughter even paid money to the police but couldn’t find.
If you want to know more clearly, please search this link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7926263.stm. I was wondering why the missing children couldn’t be found, where are they? How come the government doesn’t have any solution for this serious problem?
How do you think about this problem?

  1. I have ever read the same news in another country or my country. There are many children was abducted from mafia gang. They were selled as begger, illegal worker and prostitute in other country. I see the begger child, they don't look like thai people. I think they may be abducted from neighbouring countries. I think the policeman can't catch mafia gang because they have a lot of money and releated with high powerful person. About 1 month ago I read news about the son of popular announcer in USA disappear for 3 years. Their parent try to found him but it's not sucess. I feel scare with the problem and don't know to solve them. Besides you should be careful and keep the your son.

  2. I think parents should spend times to take care youe children. If parents haven't time to take care beacause they must work, they'll find one way to protect your children. In thailand have the broker who find children to work and beg for money in Bangkok.Sometimes, the broker brings the girls to sexaul service. This is a serious problem ,so the goverment should find to solve problem.
    thank you,An

  3. I am so surprised when I read a detail of the news. Neariy 6,000 children have been reported missing in the city in the last two years. And only about one in 10 have been found. The number is too high. I doubt for with government ignores this problem ,and it will repeatedly occur. Thus, the best way to solve it is a warm family. Their parents should take care and look after their children closely.

  4. I think this problem may be happening in many countries. In Thailand,it is one social problem too.In each year, more than three hundred children were disappeared and may be increasing. It reflects to relationship in family. For instance, lack of understanding and talking each other. Almost of children are forced to be beggar, prostitute, and sell to foreigner. The two causes that they lose are seduction from chat online or hi-5 and feeling petulant. The way to solve this problem is thinking that relation in family is important than business and spend time to live together

  5. I couldn't believe it because Deli is the center of business, industry, and politics in India. I don't know there are two sides of the big city and the slum. I think this problem is various and complex background. It is difficult to solve because the reason is not only one. It takes long time to reduce the number. Indian government should consider them seriously as well as work on the developing country.

  6. In Cambodia I think more than 60% of children were not found because of the poor family. They might sell their child and took the money to escape hunger or unable to found by money cause. The government might not care of the nationality because of he own benefit.

  7. Now a day,I ever hear news about abduct children in Thailand too.If it's a girl child, it's probably prostitution and beggar. There are local mafia gangs who abduct children to make money out of them.I am not sure about children are become beggar on bridge or walk to sell flowers on street. They are abduction from mafia gangs or children make themself. However, government and family should to much take care children by give knowledge
