World's cheapest car is launched

In "World's cheapest car is launched ", BBC News reports that Tata, the Indian car company, launches the world's cheapest car, the Tata Nano, in India. The car has no airbags, air conditioning, radio, or power steering on the standard model but we can put more luxurious options later. It costs $1,979. Car industry analysts quote it will take five or six years for Tata to start to raise the bottom line from the product. Almost all global carmakers alike, Tata has seen drop in sales as the worsening of the global economic slump has been going on.

Do you want to purchase it? Is the price important and attractive when you buy it, even if there is not enough sorts of devices?

  2. The BBC report also caught my eye.
It's cute, but I don't think I'll get one. Although I drove a car in my last year of high school, I've never owned one, and I haven't driven for about thirty years. It's not because I'm ecologically minded: I just hate driving, and living in the middle of a big city, there is never any need to drive.
Still, it does look very cute.

  9. In my opinion, Tata can sell in Thailand especially for country side because using cars is the most conveninent method there. The very cheap price also attract them to buy it. However, I'm not confident on its quality so other brand is a better choice for me.
