Nasa shuttle launched after delay

In “Nasa shuttle launched after delay”, BBC News reports that Nasa's space shuttle Discovery has gone to space from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on 2 weeks mission to the International Space Station. The shuttle's launch delayed departure in February because there were machine faults. Its mission is supposed to characterize four spacewalks to help set up the truss part to the starboard, or right, side of the station and the deployment of its solar arrays. Discovery's astronauts will also change a broken unit for a system that converts urine to drinking water. Another important mission is ISS crew shift. Discovery will drop off the Japanese space agency's (Jaxa) first resident crew member. One of the astronauts is Kouichi Wakata will be Japan's first long-term resident on the space station.
I found an interesting article about Mr.Wakata. Besides his major missions, he intends to conduct funny experimentations, such as “how do you get the medicine in the eye in space?” It is chosen from among the public. If you have a chance, what do you want to ask him to do?

  1. Thank for your difficult summary Mi. If i have a chance, i would like to ask him: why should replace a failed unit for a system that converts urine to drinking water?

  5. If I've a chance to ask him, I'd like to know about space time. When you are in the space, the time go slower than in the world,Isn't it right? The space time seem slower than in the world because I've read some cartoons about space time. Therefore,I could imply that space time go slower than in our world. For exsample, there was an astronaut travel in the space and when he came back to the world, he found his wife very old than him. For this reason, I think space time go slower than in the world.
