19 polices raided to Google Korean !!

Google is a famous and useful website so we should pay attention to "Google offices raided by Korean police" from BBC News.

Google Korean are raided and under investigated by the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) because the Street View information, which collecting from unspecified internet users; it's probably break the laws.

In my opinion, Google can't ask permission from everyone, who own that information, to gather the information to create the new features or improve old feature; however, they should not break the law and then said it just "a mistake", so they should sigh an agreement or creating new rule to suit for everyone.

  1. Net,
I think from this incident google must have more caution about the data they collect and distribute, they are full responsible in what are they distributing. Although they may not really be owner of the information, they help propagating it.

  2. "Big brother's debate" occurred in South Korea is a pity. It is claims that Google bought the 'spy drones' in German for "Street View service"
i think this is clearly privacy violation.

Thanks, that clarify a lot. I agree with you. Google must have the way to prevent this kind of situation, but how? If they are getting more strictly, it might be reduce conveniently, and that bad for their business.

  11. Yu nil,
I think google don't wrong if some people taking other photo and posing it on google, but they have to have a way to tracking who is posing it. Google don't take photos themselves but they have some responsible in allowing the photos posing on their website.

  12. If they give us information which we serach for it be benefit for us.
But we'd better go moral way.Even it's illegal. Google is just company. They should think moral way. They don't have right to spying and control our life.
