"Accident"

Last night, August 8, 2010, Man Utd win 3-1 against Chelsea in the FA Community Shield . As one of the United supporters, a win is always makes me happy, moreover an early win feels happier...lol ^_^. Ah...Enough with football, it not an interesting topic as you can see from a small number of comments, today I will write about "Ten killed, dozens missing in Indonesian boat sinking".

In this news, the boat was sinking at 9 today, August 9, 2010, near the coast of Flores island, Indonesia. There are around 60 passengers on this boat, around 50 found alive, 11 found die, and 32 are missing. This "accident" is occurred because this ship is overcrowding. This is the most "popular" reason for boats sinking in Indonesia.

I think if humans learn from their mistake, this kind of "accident" must not be happened again. Yesterday our boats sink by overcrowding, today our boats also sink by overcrowding again, again, and again. You can prevent an "accident" like this before it's arisen, like in the BP oil leakage case which has more effect. This maybe a "little" accident but people life are invaluable and irreplaceable.

  1. I have question too, that why 60 is equally to 50+11+32???
But I write it according to the news.

  2. I agree with Math that we should not say it's an accident. If the incidents like this happened many time in the past, It'd better to say it's just a non responsible incident.

PS. I think just eight people were alive because they said "Eight of the ferry's estimated 50 passengers were found alive"

  3. I love Math opinion; he said "This maybe a "little" accident but people life are invaluable and irreplaceable." It's show what kind of people are you. According to the news, I don't see any sentences mention that the amount of passenger are about 60 persons; besides, I think we should learn form things we've mistaken before.

  6. I think this kind of accident happened many time in undevelop or develop countries because they have a low-quality of life-ricky routine, low income, uneducated citizen, and safty. For example In thailand, an overcrowding on the bus caused a falling off accident seveal times.
