How To Be A Conqueror

 How TO BE A CONQUEROR

Someone said " Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got to keep going." Some people are afraid of starting something new , some of them are afraid to be failed, some of them are afraid of being alone and so on. Moreover, some people might mistakenly think that fear is only experienced in fearful situations but the truth is that fear can haunt someone's subconscious mind and make him afraid all the time and everywhere.

Furthermore,Some people never manage to experience happiness because they are living with fear all the time. And also some people have unconscious fears that are present with them all the time and that prevent them from experiencing true happiness. whenever they start to feel happy they find themselves feeling afraid or even thinking that their happiness is not real.

According to on May 2,2015 or on this Sunday morning in Thailand, it had a big professional boxing match between the eight - division world champion Manny Pacquiao or Pacman, 36, Filipino and undefeated American Floyd Mayweather, Jr., 38, five - division world champion. The fight took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The statistics show that Mayweather who is the 47-0 undefeated pugilist that has won world titles in five different weight classes. At the same time, Manny Pacquiao has a 57-5-2 prefessional record.

Before this match started, the tickets of this match were sold out and the tickets for as little as $US3069 for a spot in the nosebleeds. But If you want to sit ringside, you have to pay for US$87,755. The cost of tickets were increasing rapidly before the match began. Anybody were looking forward to seeing this match and some of them predicted that Pacquiao would have lost. Because of Floyd was strong and quite self confident. He said that "This fight is not good versus evil. It is one fighter who is at the top and another". He seems like threatening Paquiao and It was success. Then Floyd beats Paquiao easily. Three judges was awarded the fight 118-110, 116-112 and 116-112.
Before the fight began, I did supported Manny Pacquiao because he is such the greatest world fighter and also his personal background is quite awesome. He came from the extremely poor family and incompletely family. His parents separated when he was in sixth grade. Moreover, He dropped out of high school and left his home since he was 14 because his mother had six children and also she did not have enough money to support her family. Then he moved to Manila and lived for time on the streets. He started boxing since that time. Since he started his career after he won the big match, he always donated his money for charity such as built schools, treated some food for homeless people, built some houses for poor people and so on. So,he is such a good man indeed. He is always thinking of others first. As a result, he is beloved from people all over the world and also they always support him.

From my point of view, Pacquiao lost this match because he was under pressured and in the depth of his heart he was scared to lose and he was scared to disappointed his fans all over the world who supported him. Furthermore, this match has both a lot of money and the WBO, WBA, WBC belts to guarantee. This is why he was stressed and he did not have a good fight as he did earlier. He was expected to be the champion. Then he thought that he came to win and he couldn't lose. For me, I have watched this match until the end, It does not matter even if he lost in this game, he is still the incredible fighter in my mind. I think he tried his best as he can.
However, like I always said earlier this world was designed for doers. This world is the best suited for those who fight back, who step out of their comfort zones and who understand their fears and work on eliminating them. If you decide to ignore your fears , you better have a strong mind or act as if they are not there then you know that the only place where you will see is happiness. On the other hand, If you try to avoid something that makes you afraid , it makes you grow the feeling of fear. In order to develop courage and get over your fears you need to face them by doing. So, you will discover that you were afraid of things that either don't exist or that can never harm you again and again.

  1. I don't think I've ever heard the term "nosebleeds" used with the meaning Aoh gives it in paragraph 4. It was interesting, so I did some research: according to the OED, it was first used with the meaning here in 1978, so is a fairly new English word, but not nearly so new as words like Google (v.), Facebook (v.) and so on.
How often do you Google? Do you Facebook?

The OED records Google the verb from 2009, but Facebook hasn't made it yet. So, is Facebook an English verb? Indeed, is Google really an English verb? Why or why not?

I'm sure this isn't what Aoh had in mind when she posted, but it was my response, and a convenient introduction to some things we will discuss in class this week.

  2. Peter,
Actually, "Nosebleed seat" is an american slang. It means the seat is so far from the stage or ringside in Boxing. It is the cheaper seat.

Well, I have searched from the source that you gave me. It sounds interesting! Well, did you watch this boxing match in the morning?
How do you feel after the match ended? I would like to know.
That's all. See you in class tomorrow morning, Bye

  3. I'm very interesting with your blog, it give me another idea. I think both are great, but the stress and a lot of pressure might make them be nervous. However, another exciting thing is the tickets were run out in few minutes. That was cool!!
