On step closer to Green

Living without emitting pollution is primary goals for many companies, though many believe it's impossible. Tesla has made a big step closer to zero-emission world.

According to "Tesla unveils batteries to power homes", Tesla, well-known US electrical company, has invented a battery, which used to store solar power. This battery can store up to 10 kWh which is a large amount of electricity.

I've been to a rural area in Yasotorn province where electricity line is not available. People there used solar-cell to generate electricity and store it in battery similar to the one that we use in car. The problem is battery capacity is not enough. At night, people can use electricity from battery, which is charged during day time, for operating only three or four light bulbs. So that, Tesla's battery is a very good choice for people in rural area. Maximum capacity of 10 kWh helps them to have more convenient lives at night, and, of course, safer lives too.

Beside solar power battery, Tesla's most famous invention is Tesla car, which uses 100 percents
electricity. So, it is zero-emission c
ar. Even though its cost and number of cars available are still big obstacles, this is an important step for car industry to our better future.

If we want to create zero-emission world, high-efficient battery is required. It must be able to store enough electricity ,from solar-cell or other clean energy sources, for cities. It's undeniable that we're now far from that point, but everything is possible in this world.

Lastly, If we want sustainable lives, there're tons of work for us to do. But there's nothing human beings cannot do.

  1. I agree with you that Tesla is very good to use in Thailand because it has many areas that electricity can't reach. Nevertheless, nowaday, it's might still too expensive that our government can't support that.

However, I hope that every areas in the country will help to save the energy :)

  3. I think the zero emission may be occurred in the future because most country now concerns about green environment; for example, Germany, When I been to there, most houses and industrial company used the solar cell to be a source of energy. It will save more money and also save the environment.

In aspects of Tesla invention, it is very useful for many countries; however, it need to be supported by a number of organizations because of costly. In addition, if Tesla is successful, it will be an inspiration to create more modern technology to keep electricity more than 10 kWh and may not need to charge during day time.

    1. Gift reminds me of what happened in Australia: the cost electricity rose high enough that it was cheaper for people to install solar systems for at least some of their needs. Even my mum updated her house to reduce her electricity bills, and the government helped by allowing tax reductions for the cost of installing solar systems.

  4. Besides Tesla battery cell. i also heard about the Hydrogen fuel cell invented by Toyota, and another invention from Germany that i cant remember the name. These two have the same principle in creating electrical power for car, The electrolysis principle which commit only few drop of water.
Anyway, these invention still have a problem replacing the old style automobile market. They require very special and new way of engine maintenance.

  5. According to solar power battery, my family has ever been interested in using it. After we talked with a solar cell agency, we found that it need a lot of money for equipment and installment, so we stopped and hoped that Thai government will support who is interested in clean power by reducing tax or loan of fund

  6. I agree with this post. In my opinion, now a day coals are used so much and it is not sustain. Thus battery will be a important resource for electricity in the future.
