Ball's Academic Interests

My first academic interests is the Computer Program. This academic interests was risen since I was a kid. When I was a kid, I like to play computer games a lot, especially RPG game. By this addict, I have a dream to become a programmer and it also ignited the passion to study in computer science in my life. The second academic interests of mine is to study abroad because I think that It will be good opportunities to got more experience and become a computer expert as well as to get employed by the big company so that I can make a lot of money. The next of my academic interest is Mathematics because Mathematics enables learners to think logically and strongly. It therefore can support me to become a reasonable person that generally will succeed in the future. My last academic interest is to study English. Obviously, it will really help to not only get the better chances in finding jobs but also give me look smarter. These are all my academic interests now.

    1. Wow!!! Your plan in future is also very attractive. I hope that you can study abroad. I sure that you will get valuable experience during study abroad and your English skill will be significantly improved. One day, you will be able to speak like native speakers. Keep working and don’t give up.

  2. Confession time: computer science was the only subject I ever did badly in at university. But in my defence, the computer in those days was housed in a entire building. And we had to input programs and data using punch cards. If we had made a single mistake, we didn't find out until a few hours later. And the practical assignments made up a large part of the grade. I did well in theory, but it wasn't like in physics, where a failed lab experiment wasn't a big problem if you were good at theory.

I suspect that the computer in the smart phone that fits comfortably in my shirt pocket is probably as powerful as, or more powerful than, the monster I grappled with a uni. many years ago.

  4. do you like Ragnarok LOL.
By the way, since I was a student I had hated learning English because I had thought that only knowledge in Thai is enough for me to achieve my academic purpose; however, when I was a senior and have to do my thesis, I realized that actually it's not enough. and when I was a technocrat, I had a chance to interview a CEO in multi-national company. his attitude towards language learning is amazing. he said that "the number of books which you have read reflects the power of your knowledge. therefore, if you are fluent in English how many book you could understand? if you know only Thai how many of them could you understand?". now I do agree with him.

  6. I enjoy playing computer games like you Ball, but I don't understand why I know nothing about computers lol. For instance,I don't know what RAM is. May be you can teach me something that's necessary for using computers.
